World Heritage City of Bath, Harry Potters Hogwarts and Stonehenge
We start our tour at the charming village of Laycock in Wiltshire. We have time here to visit the Abbey founded in 1232 and converted to a country house c. 1540. More recently Laycock Abbey has attracted visitors from across the world since featuring in the Harry Potter Movies – Chamber of Secrets and The Philosophers Stone.
Arrival at the City of Bath. Free time to enjoy the marvels of this stunning city. Explore the Abbey, founded in 1499, the Royal Crescent famed for its impressive architecture and of course the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms. Free time to explore the city along side the Weir and River Avon. Lunch at your leisure.
We travel onto Stonehenge Stone Circle, a World Heritage Site. Erected between c3000bc and 1600bc. Stonehenge is the only stone circle in the world with lintels around the top, making it truly unique.
